# Degrees of Satoshi > A public crypto encyclopedia with 425 entries: Bitcoin (125), Ethereum (115), Stablecoins (65), and DeFi (120). Search, learning paths, and two browser-local tools accompany inspectable claims and sources. A Bitcoin address's **degree** is the fewest directed transaction hops from the early-mining anchor set (28,583 addresses from 2009–2010, including the genesis coinbase) to that address. Degrees of Satoshi computes it for any mainnet address from a frozen, versioned graph of 1.53 billion address records through block 960,000, and publishes sourced dossiers, datasets and history around it.
