# Version history and corrections policy

## Version 1.0.0 — 2026-08-10

Initial aggregate release candidate. No corrections are recorded. Independent
review, the standalone public repository, the public issue tracker, the Zenodo
archive, and the DOI remain external release conditions.

## Corrections

Changes to anchor or terminal membership, traversal direction, stopping rules,
source snapshot, or aggregate results require a new methodology version and a
new immutable checksum set. Editorial corrections that do not alter results are
recorded in `version-history.json` and never silently replace frozen data files.

The durable correction route will be the issue tracker of the standalone
`degrees-of-satoshi-research` repository. Its URL is deliberately not invented
here: the release remains a candidate until that repository and intake route
exist.

## Funding and conflicts

No external funding is claimed. No independent review is claimed. Sentario
operates Degrees of Satoshi and offers free address tracing plus a paid
address-publication product; this is a direct commercial conflict disclosed in
the report.
