- Primary records firstBlocks, transactions, source code, mailing-list posts, filings, laws and official disclosures are preferred wherever they can establish the claim directly.
- Attribution stays boundedAn address is not a person or a wallet. Graph proximity does not prove identity, ownership, control, contact or literal ancestry of individual coins.
- Dates and versions remain visibleResearch pages identify publication and review dates; released data use versions and checksums where the underlying package supports them.
- No silent material changesChanges to a method, released result or material claim require an appropriate version, correction record or retraction notice.
Encyclopedia editorial process
The 425-entry crypto encyclopedia uses AI-assisted primary-source research and drafting followed by a separate automated verification pass. Claim records show source locators, qualifications and actual verification status. This process does not imply named human approval or external expert review. Read the editorial method.
Review and credentials
Published pages receive internal editorial review under the group identities above. Internal review is not independent peer review. The current address-graph report remains a release candidate, explicitly invites independent technical review and does not claim a DOI, journal acceptance or academic affiliation.
The named profile is deliberately narrow. Patrick Kingsley’s project role and authenticated GitHub identity are public; no academic affiliation, professional licence or external qualification is claimed.
Funding and conflicts
Sentario operates Degrees of Satoshi, including its free address checker and paid address-publication product. The address-graph report is derived from the same graph artifact used by the checker, and its research links can lead to that product. This is a direct commercial conflict and is disclosed on the report. No external funding is claimed for the current graph release.
Corrections and retractions
Evidence-led corrections use the structured public correction form; methodological review is coordinated in review issue #1. The process and version impact are documented on the corrections page.
